Intent-based networking for founders

Post what you need.
Match with founders who can help.

PresenceOS matches founders based on what they need right now — cofounder, professional expert, hire, advice, early users — instead of who they already know. Live, honest, small enough that you'll actually meet the people who match.

How it works

Three steps. No profile theater.

01

Post an intent

One sentence describing what you need right now. A cofounder, an early user, feedback, a specific skill. Specificity wins.

02

AI reads it and matches

An LLM extracts the shape of your intent — industry, direction, skills, depth — and finds founders whose intent complements yours.

03

Connect and act

Top matches surface with reasons for the match. You send a connection request or move on. Interactions end with an outcome.

Why intent matters

Profiles tell you who someone is. Intent tells you what they need.

Founders in India are stuck in ways that don't show up in headlines. They have real problems — a technical block, a hiring gap, a customer they need — and they don't know who's listening.

So they post into social media voids. Ask friends without context. Or stay stuck alone. Over 80% of Indian founders come from just five cities. The rest struggle not because they lack ideas, but because they lack access to the specific person who could help them next.

PresenceOS flips the primitive. Instead of publishing who you are and hoping the right person finds you, you publish what you need — and the system surfaces the person who can actually help. Because their intent complements yours.

Different from LinkedIn

Not another feed. A place with a purpose.

LinkedIn

  • removeMatch on profile (who you are)
  • removeOptimizes for time-on-site
  • removeReach depends on your network
  • removeFeed rewards visibility over specificity

PresenceOS

  • checkMatch on intent (what you need)
  • checkOptimizes for outcomes
  • checkReach based on match, not connections
  • checkEvery post is a specific need

LinkedIn is a great social platform. It just isn't built for "I need X right now" moments. Different tool, different job.

We rebuilt it three times

33% → 51% → 91%.

v1 matched on text similarity. It hit 33% on our test set of complementary pairs. Unusable.

v2 added structured extraction — industry, skills, depth — as scoring signals. 51%. Better, still not there.

v3 added direction-aware complementarity: a seeker of X and an offerer of X score higher than two seekers or two offerers. That was the missing signal. 91%.

Measured on a curated test set of ~50 complementary intent pairs, top-3 surfacing. Real-world match quality is what we're measuring next.

How we make money

Free for the first 12 months. Free for founders forever if you're building for the first time.

For our first 10,000 users — everyone gets full access, no payment, no card, no trial timer. That's how long we need to make sure the network is dense enough to be useful.

After that, paid tiers activate for power users (priority matching, deeper filters). Students, first-time founders, and anyone not yet earning revenue from what they're building — free forever.

Eventually we'll add a marketplace for the tools and services founders keep asking about — with commissions on B2B listings. That's Year 2+. We'll say when it's live.
